Situated in Carlton, Minnesota is the Black Bear Casino that gamblers from the area have been familiar with since 1993. The establishment has just undergone a massive renovation, adding a 12-storey hotel and entertainment complex, a 10,000 sq ft indoor swimming pool, $8 million golf course and upgraded gaming space to the mix. Dedicated staff and management exceed expectations with their exceptional service, inviting visitors to explore the site and familiarize themselves with their accommodations, services, amenities and area attractions. A nice touch is the casino tour bus shuttle service provided to customers staying overnight at nearby hotels & motels. Casino junkets also make regular stops there, coming complete with coupon books promising free casino chips to visitors. Black Bear takes the grand casino experience to new heights with a state of the art gaming floor that comes equipped with 2,000 of the newest and best slot machines, blackjack high limit areas, bingo, and several poker rooms.

The poker player I will be speaking of is Andy Goetsch, and let me tell you his views on poker matters, along with his best game interview-player poker (his secret on winning). He is a WPT tour veteran, he managed to win online seat to half a dozen WPT competitions and also one WSOP. When asked why online poker (and poker in general) has become a craze, Andy said one notable thing in this Best Game Interview-Player Poker (His Secret on Winning). In the other events, it is fun to spectate, but the regular fan fully knows that he would never be able to go to the level that the pros enjoy, but in poker, it could be done. Learnings from online poker could be translated and applied to landbased action, and that is another enticement. When asked what the elements for success playing online versus landbased are: he answered the following. (Actually, I could take his answer as his roundabout way of saying what his secrets on winning are- the taking advantage of the features of online). Elements of success (according to him) are basically the same, but the difference is that it is quicker and cheaper at online action. Online, the overlay contests and the signup incentives have become major enticements for the typical gambler. In that best game interview-player poker (his secret on winning), he mentioned a lot of other things, but let this suffice for now.

What we have on our plate today is the Grand Casino Resort, and if somebody tells me that it is by far the largest casino in Tunica, I would probably just believe it at face value. The establishment has a spa, salon, four pools (only one is inside) and as such, even if you are not a gambler, you would surely have a great time in here. Before we go to their Tunica poker rooms' details, let us go to the food sites. They have a restaurant (Grand Replays) a floor above the casino, and it is very much like a sports bar, meaning, there are TVs all around and video games for those interested. Casino itself is big, and besides Tunica poker rooms, they have multitudes of slots. If you do not like Holdem, don't worry, as far as I know, they have other variants. As a sort of aside, they have good golf facilities, something like one hundred dollars for eighteen holes on a weekend outing. If you play both poker and golf, you can just rush out if your poker luck is on the rotten side. The Tunica Poker Rooms of the Grand Casino Resort have been very busy just this January. They hosted the HHPT/ WSOP Ladies Circuit. I am sure a lot of men were kept busy, spectating on the poker action that is.

I firmly believe that there is no absolute single, best poker player in the world, but there are a handful of best poker players. Among the deceased, Stu Ungar gets my vote, without a doubt, never mind that the end of his life was a very sad one. Among the living, I will call a poker pro as 'best poker player' if he or she has amassed big sums of money from tourney/ring games, plus taking in consideration the number of WSOP bracelets he/she owns. One person which for me is a best poker player would be Men Nguyen. Men got the monicker "the Master" from a pupil way back in the 90s. Nguyen's career is nothing short of impressive, here goes. Men clinched 75 plus tourneys, and six of these from the most prestigious event, the WSOP. Nguyen got a bracelet...well, let me put it this way. He got the six from years 1992, 1995, 1996 and 2003- there were years he got two all at once. At present, if estimates are not far off, this best poker player already accumulated 7.5 million dollars. One word I can say, awesome- Nguyen also received "CardPlayer Magazine's Player of the Year Award" not just once, but four times- again, awesome.

In the past, I usually shun from poker sites on the Internet that say, "download poker games." That's because I used to think that when you download poker games, it equates a lot of costs. What type of costs, exactly? Well, fees for downloading a game, signing up for an account, plus all those memory and sound cards and other what have you's on the computer system that the site requires. But now, good thing you can now download your poker games for free! One of the most common questions I get concerning free download poker games is, if I get it for free, does it mean that I can't earn genuine bucks from the play? The answer is, no, it doesn't necessarily mean that if it's a free download, you can no longer play real money poker games. All you have to comply with are the site's system requirements. If you want to make sure that your computer accepts any and every poker game you download, invest on a Pentium. Try to have a computer operating system that's Windows 98 or higher, and a really high speed modem. A sound card is generally not required, but I do suggest you invest on one if you really want to have an enjoyable game.

Whenever I play online games, I would just notice one thing: wherever there is a casino game, there is also a poker game. But not all poker game sites offer casino games as well. Since I'm not really a very good poker player and I've not played poker for so long (OK, at least I admitted), for a while, I thought poker's really separate from casino. It's only right at this very moment that I kind of realized what they have in common and what their differences are. I'm welcome to comments and any corrections since this is only my opinion. Well, as per my observation, casino games seem to be the broader category for games of chance that can earn you money. Poker belongs to this category. We can say that poker is a casino game because more often than not, you also play it for money. Now the big question is, why is it that when it comes to online games, poker and casino are distinguished from each other? Well, this is just my guess--perhaps it's because with the passing of time, many online gaming enthusiasts and developers have noticed that poker can already stand on its own without being associated with casino.
